A food and beverage staff member at Best Western PLUS Westgate Inn and Suites will need to have food and beverage prep, and service experience, while being reliable and committed to providing guest with a great experience.
Deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all of our customers, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers.
Serve and present beverages, quickly and efficiently, meeting our standards Assist in keeping the bar clean and tidy, at all times. Including vacuuming, sanitizing, dusting, etc.
Be familiar with the alcoholic beverage industry and different types of craft beers, wines, and cocktails.
Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
Make customers aware of offers on our great food and drink range
Speak to customers to ensure that they are satisfied with any drinks or appetizers.
Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training
Always adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Be involved and contribute at team meetings
Carry out instructions given by the management team and head office.
Managing inventory, performing inventory accounts, and submitting inventory orders.
Utilizing the POS to process transactions, run end of shift reports, and prepare end of shift deposits and reports.
Must be 21 years of age to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.
High school diploma or equivalent
Have proof of right to work in the US.
Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience
Superior customer service and public relations skills
Excellent organization and time management skills
Ability of a flexible work schedule, including weekends, and holidays.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Internet, and POS systems utilized in the food/beverage industry.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, co-workers, and managers.
